Howdy,

I'm Lacy Jo.

I started my photography business in the late season of 2022. I've always loved taking photos for as long as I can remember. Though I wasn't sure if it was the right path for me, it always seemed to keep pulling me back it. After losing my mom January 2022, I made her a promise to go after my dreams, accomplish all my goals and to make sure I live each moment and cherish every precious minute we have. So, I grabbed my camera and have done that ever since. I want to capture every special moment I can. Not just catching it on camera but also live it in every single moment. Take in all the views of traveling to each and every session. Meeting new and amazing client's. Just making every session I can as amazing as the ones in front of my lens.

Passion

Two of my biggest passions is Western Lifestyle and Equine Photography.

Getting to take two of my biggest passions and showing them through photography is my favorite thing to do. From capturing images of ranchers, cattle, cowboys and cowgirls to taking photos of all thing's horses.

Anything horse related has always been a true passion of mine since I was 3 years old. It was never a phase I went through as a child, it was a dedicated passion of mine to learn everything about them, from their movements, personality's, breeds, bloodlines, history behind them and more. That is where I feel so proud to be able use my 25+ years of knowledge in my equine photography sessions.

Not only being able to serve my clients with the knowledge I have for horses, but I also have a background of showing horses as well. I have personally shown in barrel racing, ran in rodeos, shown in horse shows anywhere from halter classes, western pleasure, ranching riding classes, reining and more.

Creating images that tell stories

Picking up a camera and clicking a button seems easy, but what is the most rewarding part of being a photographer I have found is getting the raw, unfiltered and the emotion in each click. If it's a wedding, engagement, family photos, maternity or even a rodeo, each click of the camera is capturing someone's most precious moment happening in their lives.

Photos are like words on papers, they tell a story. As a photographer it's such a blessing to get to bring clients stories to life in a frozen moment they can go back and look at and remember the story behind that cherished moment.
